Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Ltd, one of the leading National Level Development Banks with 103 branches across the Nation is seeking applications from highly motivated, energetic, and result-oriented Nepali Citizens to work at different locations including Central Office for the following positions:


1. Manager / Deputy Manager /Assistant Manager (Central Office)

Departments: Integrated Risk Management, Credit Relationship, Finance & Accounting, Treasury & Correspondent Banking, Human Resources Management & Development.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:
    • Master’s Degree in related field with relevant specialization from a recognized University with a minimum of 2nd Division / CGPA above 2.5 or Certified Chartered Accountant Certificate from recognized Institute
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Commercial Bank in related area with at least 2 years of experience in the position of a Jr. Officer / Officer
    • OR
    • Minimum 7 years in a Development Bank and other Financial Institutions in the related area with at least 2 years of experience in the position of a Senior Officer / Assistant Manager.
    • For Treasury & Correspondent Banking knowledge of secondary market will be an added advantage
    • For Human Resources good understanding of Training and Developments desired

2. Branch Managers – Few

Corporate Position: Senior Officer/ Officer/ Junior Officer:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Management from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 2nd Division or CGPA above 2.5
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Commercial Bank with exposure of credit function as a Branch Manager / Branch In-charge / Relationship Officer
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Development Bank and Financial Institutions in related area as a Relationship Officer / Branch In-Charge/ Branch Manager

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Management from a recognized University with a minimum of 2nd Division or CGPA above 2.5
  • Experience:
    • For Junior Officer / Supervisor/ Assistant at least 2 years; Senior Officer / Officer at least 3 years of experience in a Financial Institutions preferably in the area of Credit Relationship, Credit Appraisal Writing and sales of banking products and services. Priority will be given to the candidate having experience in commercial bank.
  • Age:
    • Not exceeding 40 years for Senior Officer/ Officer / Junior Officer position and 35 years for Supervisor /Assistant position

  • Qualification:
    • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University minimum 2nd division or CGPA above 2.5
    • For Remote Area Branches: Must have successfully completed 10+2 education or equivalent Certificate with minimum 2nd division

    • Not exceeding 35 years as on application deadline

Notes:

  • Preference shall be given to the candidates from local / surrounding area in case of placement in Branches.
  • Applicant shall only apply for one position and location at a time.
  • Only short listed candidates will be called for further processes of selection.
