Since the vacancies in the following civil service groups, sub-groups and levels have to be filled, the promotion posts have to be reserved for the time being and the remaining posts have to be filled through open, inclusive, and inter-service competitive examinations.
Candidates who have reached the prescribed minimum qualification will have to apply through the Commission's online application system ppsconline.p2.gov.np.
Types of exams: - Written, experimental, and interview.
Exam Date: - Will be published later.
Examination Center: - Janakpurdham.
Application Fee: - For the ninth level Rs. 1,200 (only one thousand two hundred) will have to be paid and after that for each additional type/group Rs. 500- (only five hundred) additional fee will have to be paid.
Last date to apply: - 2078-3-16 and double fee paid till 2078-3-23.
Age limit of the candidate:
- Candidates who have completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 35 years in case of a male, and not exceeding 40 years in case of female candidates by 2078-03-16
- In the case of engineering services, agricultural services, forest services, and health services: age not exceeding 40 years.
- In case of reinstated permanent civil servants: No age limit.
Method and place of submission of application fee:
- Province Public Service Commission, Province No. 2, Janakpurdham Office Code: 2100117012 and Revenue Title No: 14224 (Examination Fee) in writing to Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd. Candidates who have submitted the application fee in their own name in any of the suitable banks will have to write the Master ID in the gross bank stamp and scan it and upload it at the specified place while applying online.
Documents to be uploaded:
- Candidate should upload educational qualification, training, experience (in the form prescribed by the Commission), business permit certificate, inclusive group opening the document, and other documents specified in the relevant advertisement in PDF format at the designated place of the online application system. All candidates should scan the front of their citizenship certificate and upload it in JPEG format. The candidate himself should be fully accountable for the details mentioned in the application.

Required minimum qualifications and minimum required qualifications:
1) Minimum qualification required
A) For open and inclusive state civil service:
A) Non-health care services:
Must have a post-graduate degree in the relevant subject and have five years experience in an official level post of any government service or registered organization or international association in accordance with the prevailing law. However, in the case of a person with a doctorate degree, the experience will be less than two years.
B) Healthcare:
Must have obtained the minimum qualifications mentioned in Schedule 6 of the National Health Service Regulations, 20, and have five years of experience at the official level of the concerned field. However, in the case of a person with a doctorate degree, the period of experience will be reduced by two years. Must be disqualified as per Section 12 of Nepal Health Services Act, 2043 BS. Applicants must be registered/renewed with their service, group-related council.
B) For inter-service:
This will be as provided in Sub-section (17) of Section 9 of the State Civil Service Act, 2077 BS.
2) Required minimum educational qualifications for each of the posts in the open and inclusive side of the state civil service
(A) Authorized ninth level or similar (service, group, sub-group) towards services other than health care (non-technical / technical):
1) Administration, General Administration: Passed Master Degree in Arts, Sanskrit, Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Education, Law or Science from a recognized educational institution.
2) Administration, Accounting: Passed Master Degree in Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Public Administration from a recognized educational institution.
3) Revenue: Post Graduate in Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Public Administration, Mathematics or Statistics from a recognized educational institution.
4) Engineering, Civil, General: At least a master's degree in civil engineering from a recognized educational institution.
5) Engineering, Civil, Highway: At least a master's degree in Civil Engineering, or Highway Engineering, or Swallow Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, or Structural Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering, or Bioengineering, or Engineering, from an accredited educational institution. Or International Construction Project Management, or Management and Implementation of Development Project, or Construction Engineering and Management, or Engineering Project Management, or Transport Engineering, or Transportation Engineering, or Transportation, or Transportation. , Or at least a Bachelor's degree in River Engineering, or Hydrology Engineering, or Earthquake Engineering, or Project Planning and Development, or Urban Transport Planning from a recognized educational institution.
7) Engineering, Civil, Sanitary: At least postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Sanitary Engineering or Public Health Engineering from a recognized educational institution.
8) Engineering, Civil, Irrigation: At least a master's degree in Civil Engineering, or Water Resource Development, or Hydrology, or Water Use Management, or Structural Engineering, or Water Resource Engineering, or Hydrological Engineering, or Hydrological Engineering, from a recognized educational institution. Irrigation Engineering and Management, or Water Engineering, or Infrastructure Planning, or Hydrology and Water Resources, or Hydraulic Engineering, Tropical Water Management, or Civil and Municipal Engineering, or Construction Management, or Applied Geology, or Applied Geology. Or Engineering Survey, or Geotechnical Engineering, or Natural Resources Management, or Hydraulic Engineering from a recognized educational institution.
9) Agriculture, Agricultural Extension (Egg Extension): Achieved the minimum educational qualification required for Gazetted III category and passed post-graduate level (M.Sc. Agri or similar) in Agricultural Extension from a recognized educational institution.
10) Agriculture, Horticulture (Horticulture): Achieved the minimum educational qualification required for Gazetted Class III and passed the postgraduate level in Horticulture (M.Sc. Agri or equivalent) from a recognized educational institution.
11) Agriculture, Fisheries (Fisheries): Achieved the minimum educational qualification required for Gazetted Third Class and passed post-graduate level (M.Sc. AN.Sc Aquaculture) or M.Sc Fisheries or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
12) Agriculture, Agri Eco & Marketing: Post Graduate Level (M.Sc. Agri) in Agri Economics or Agri Marketing or Agri Finance or Resource Economics or Agriculture Business from a recognized educational institution with the minimum educational qualification required for Gazetted Third Class Or equivalent.
13) Agriculture, Livestock, Poultry and Dairy Development: At least a master's degree in Animal Science / Applied Sciences (Animal Breeding, Animal Nutrition, Livestock Production and Management, Pasteur Management, Management) Passed postgraduate level in Animal Welfare, Livestock Extension, Dairy Technology, Fodder, Pasteur Production, and Poultry Production) from a recognized educational institution.
14) Agriculture, Plant Development (Agronomy): Achieved the minimum educational qualification required for Gazetted Class III and pass the postgraduate level (M.Sc. Agri or equivalent) in crop science from a recognized educational institution.
15) Forest, General Forestry: At least a master's degree in Silviculture or forest resource measurement in forest science from an accredited educational institution, or forest resource survey, or land and watershed management, or wildlife conservation/management, or protected forest area management, or agro-forest management. , Or a master's degree in forest and environment management, or forest and climate change, or natural resource management, or biodiversity from a recognized educational institution.
