Additional 1.6 Million Dose of Covid 19 Vaccine

Kathmandu: China has decided to provide additional 1.6 Million Doses of corona virus vaccine. During a meeting with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Ms. Hou Yanqi said that an additional 1.6 million doses of vaccine would be provided in the grant.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted Ambassador Yanqi as saying, "China will continue to support Nepal in its fight against the Covid 19 epidemic. Ambassador Yanqi informed the Prime Minister that China has decided to vaccinate Nepal against an additional 1.6 million doses of covid vaccine. Twice before, China had provided 1.8 million doses of vaccine.
