Advance ticket booking for long and medium distance vehicles is open from today for those who want to return home to celebrate Dashain. 

Helpdesk in 14 Places:

According to the Department of Transport Management, help desks have been set up at 14 places in the Kathmandu Valley for advance ticket booking.

• Sundhara

The fare rate as adjusted by the Department of Transport Management on July 12 is as follows:

Things to Remember: 

Long Distance Transportation Advance Ticket Booking open from 11th Ashoj. A group is also active in cheating passengers during ticket booking and charging more than the prescribed fare. Therefore, it is better to know the fare fixed by the government for the destination. Namaraj Ghimire, director general of the transport management department, said that immediate action would be taken if more fares were taken from the passengers than specified by the government.

Representatives of Nepal Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), community police, traffic police and traffic management department are present in these 14 places. Passengers will be able to get help from the same representative in case of any inconvenience during ticket booking, in case of any information or if they feel cheated.
