How to Apply for Online Driving License Form Application

The Department of Transport management (DoTM) has opened the application for the driving license examination starting Monday evening.The application form for the new applicants for driving license opened after six months of closure. According to the DoTM, applicants can fill up the form for the license. However, the DoTM has decided to allow a certain number as per its capacity. The DoTM had suspended the application process in April citing the COVID-19 pandemic. New applicants will now be required to complete a driving test based on the new scoring system.To pass the written portion of the driving exam, which has a total score of 100, an applicant must obtain 60 points out of a total of 100. The portion will ask objective questions from the DoTM's 500-question question bank, which has previously been released. Similarly, the trial phase will also be done using the new scoring system, in which the applicant must get 70 points in order to pass the trial. In comparison to previous trials, where an application was automatically disqualified if they made even a slight error, the new scoring system will provide much-needed respite to applicants.

Online Driving License Registration:

Opening time of online form registration: 6 AM to 10 PM
Form is registered only if there is quota available
Quota allocated maximum for one week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – Bio-metric Date)
Category and Mobile Number fields are mandatory and non-editable.

Re-Registration after expiry of appointment date of Transport Management Office visit will be allowed only after 15 days
Re-Registration will be allowed only after 90 days in the case of exam failure
Applicant can check the application as well as license status through CHECK STATUS button
To know about written exam result, type following information and send to number 33001 from mobile

where <Applicant ID> is a number assigned after Bio-metric
