Vacancy Details: Position: Psychosocial Counselor

• Must have passed minimum proficiency certificate level or 10+2.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have 2 years work experience in psychosocial counseling, or have taken basic training related to it, or have 1 year experience in counseling and have worked in the field of safe foreign employment. Preference will be given to age group above 25 years.

Vacancy Details: Financial Literacy Facilitator

• Must have passed minimum proficiency certificate level or 10+2.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the field of safe foreign employment with at least 2 years experience in the field of financial institutions, cooperatives, entrepreneurship development and social mobilization. Preference will be given to age group and women above 25 years.
• Types of exams: Written and Oral

Vacancy Details: Return Volunteer

• Preference will be given to the concerned local level candidates (women) who have passed the minimum grade 8 and gone for foreign employment (Gulf countries or Malaysia) and have worked in the field of safe foreign employment for at least 2 years.

The Safer Migration Project (SaMi) is a bilateral project between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland. The project is led by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security and local governments. Helvetas Nepal is providing technical assistance to the project on behalf of the Swiss Government Development Assistance. Under this, Nucleus for Employment through Skill Transfer (NEST) needs the following manpower to assist in conducting community awareness programs, psychosocial counseling and financial literacy programs in Pokhar Municipal Corporation of Kaski District; Eligible and experienced Nepali citizens are invited to apply for the following posts.

Term of office: Currently until July 15, 2022, renewable according to program requirements and performance.

Exam type: Interview.

Salary and other benefits: As per program rules.

Required Documents: Interested Nepali citizens who have attained the above qualifications should clearly state the position they want to apply for along with photocopy of Nepali citizenship, certificate of experience, personal details including name and contact phone number of at least 2 reference persons and photocopy of educational qualification certificate and one copy of passport size photo. The office of the organization along with the handwritten application should be submitted in Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 8 Nagdhunga. Applications received after the deadline will not be evaluated.

Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be included in the additional process. A positive diversification process will be followed for the inclusion of candidates from Sasgari, Women, Dalit, Janajati, Madhesi and Minority communities in each post.
